Ruby Action again – the finals Applewood big winners

Applewood girls rugby team were big winners of Peel region. They are now off to the OFSSA Playoffs next week. Although Maya didn’t make in this game, her and teammates’ cheers from the sideline kept the fire hot against Mayfield.

I ventured over to see my daughter’s school ruby team in action. It was painful watching all those hard hits but even more joyous seeing the team running all over the field scoring try after try after try. Applewood soundly beat Mentor college 63-5. All the girls played their hearts out today including Maya who was rewarded with the final scoring try. Here are a few images I captured.

Not the rain, gale force winds, sleet, snow, nothing was going to put a damper of this great couple’s wedding day. Matthesa & James took it stride and enjoyed one of their best days ever. The intimate ceremony at Willowdale Seven day Adventist church was filled with joy, antics and lots of laughter. The fun continued over at the Bellagio banquet hall. Toronto Raptors game – Photos from my seat

I headed out to see a Toronto Raptors game with a buddy and few of his friends. These guys came in from Nova Scotia to catch both Toronto Blue Jays and Raptor games in the same day then fly back home. What a cool idea. Decent seats but a little to high for my liking, so to prevent the nose bleeding I pulled out my camera and made a few shots. I’ve come to realize that they have won every game I went to over the years. Hmmmm maybe the Raptors need to send me a season subcription next year.
